Job Description:
Battmobile is expanding its finance department and seeking a Senior Finance Executive to join our team in Al Qouz. In this pivotal role, you will function in a capacity similar to an Assistant Accounting Manager, overseeing daily accounting activities and high-level reporting cycles. We are looking for a hands-on professional who is comfortable leading a team and working closely with senior Management to ensure financial health and regulatory compliance. If you have a problem-solving mindset and extensive experience with Zoho Books, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of financial operations in a fast-paced retail and service environment.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end accounting activities, including detailed ledger reviews and accuracy checks.
- Manage and streamline the month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheets, and Variance Analysis for Management.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of accountants to ensure operational efficiency.
- Support UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure adherence to IFRS and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with Human Resources for payroll-related financial reporting and expense verification.
- Liaise with Information Technology to maintain and optimize the Zoho Books environment.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (ACCA qualification is a strong advantage).
- 4 to 6 years of professional accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience and proficiency in Zoho Books.
- Solid working knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax regulations, and IFRS.
- Advanced MS Excel skills with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Prior experience in the Automotive or Retail sector is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage a multicultural team.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced business environment.
