Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Advisory: Lead patent consultations and advise clients on filing strategies across GCC, EPO, USPTO, and PCT systems.
- Technical Analysis: Conduct rigorous patentability assessments and Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) analyses to safeguard client innovations.
- Drafting Excellence: Draft and review high-quality patent specifications, claims, and responses to complex office actions.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of patent portfolios, including PCT filings and national phase entries globally.
- Quality Authority: Act as the final technical authority for all patent deliverables, ensuring absolute accuracy and legal robustness.
- Mentorship: Supervise and mentor junior patent professionals, fostering technical growth within the internal team.
🔹 Requirements:
- Education: Mandatory Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology.
- Experience: 7–12+ years of hands-on experience in patent prosecution and multi-jurisdictional portfolio management.
- Certifications: Qualification as a Patent Attorney or Registered Patent Agent is highly preferred.
- Expertise: Proven ability to draft sophisticated patent claims and manage PCT national phase entries.
- Language: Excellent English skills; Arabic language proficiency is a significant advantage.
- Soft Skills: Strong strategic advisory capabilities and the ability to lead a growing technical practice.
