Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing: Identify and vet reliable vendors for FM-specific materials, equipment, and sub-contracted services across the UAE.
- SAP Management: Manage the full procurement cycle within SAP, from Purchase Requisition (PR) and RFQ to Purchase Order (PO) issuance and tracking.
- Cost Optimization: Conduct rigorous price negotiations and tender evaluations to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining high quality standards.
- Inventory Coordination: Work closely with storekeepers and site managers to ensure timely material delivery for critical maintenance projects.
- Vendor Performance: Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, ensuring adherence to delivery timelines, specifications, and credit terms.
- Engineering Support: Utilize technical engineering knowledge to verify material specifications for MEP and HVAC requirements.
🔹 Requirements:
- Market Experience: Minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in procurement within a Facilities Management company in the UAE.
- Technical Background: An Engineering background is highly preferred to assist in technical material evaluations.
- Software Mastery: Hands-on, professional proficiency in SAP is an essential requirement.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local material markets, vendor networks, and UAE procurement legalities.
- Availability: Candidates who can join immediately will be given strong preference.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
