Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and technically strong Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi. This role is designed for a professional who possesses extensive hands-on experience in structural design, analysis, and project coordination. You will be responsible for independently managing complex engineering tasks while ensuring all designs meet the rigorous safety and quality standards of the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of local regulations, authority requirements, and a proven track record of coordinating with diverse project stakeholders. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed structural design and advanced analysis for a variety of high-profile construction projects.
- Prepare and review comprehensive design calculations, technical reports, and structural drawings.
- Ensure strict compliance with UAE building codes, international standards, and local authority requirements.
- Coordinate seamlessly with architects, consultants, and other engineering disciplines to ensure design harmony.
- Review project specifications and provide innovative technical solutions to complex structural challenges.
- Support overall project execution through effective planning, resource coordination, and timeline management.
- Partner with the Human Resources team to mentor junior engineers and support technical training sessions.
- Utilize advanced Information Technology and software tools to optimize design accuracy and efficiency.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 8 years of proven structural engineering experience strictly within the UAE.
- Strong expertise in modern structural design and analysis methodologies for reinforced concrete and steel.
- High proficiency in industry-standard software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or SAFE.
- Solid knowledge of Abu Dhabi building codes and UAE engineering standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex calculations, technical drawings, and inter-disciplinary design coordination.
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and professional approach to team management.
- RERA or Municipality certification/approval in the UAE is a significant advantage.
