Site Engineer (Electrical – Lighting & Small Power) – UAE | Extra High Voltage Electromechanical Contracting LLC

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision: Execute and supervise the installation of lighting fixtures, switches, socket outlets, and distribution boards according to IFC drawings.
• Infrastructure Management: Coordinate the installation of conduits, trunking, cable trays, and wiring systems to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Technical Review: Review shop drawings, method statements, and UAE authority requirements (DEWA/ADDC) before execution.
• Manpower Planning: Plan weekly site activities, allocate manpower effectively, and monitor productivity to meet project timelines.
• Inter-Disciplinary Coordination: Liaise with Civil, HVAC, and Fire Alarm teams to resolve site clashes and ensure integrated installation.
• QA/QC & HSE: Enforce strict adherence to Quality Control procedures and Health & Safety regulations throughout the site lifecycle.
• Project Closeout: Supervise cable termination and labeling; assist in testing, commissioning, and final snag clearance for handover.

🔹 Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 3–7 years of relevant site experience focusing specifically on Lighting and Small Power works.
• Authority Standards: Familiarity with UAE/GCC authority standards such as DEWA, ADDC, or SEWA is mandatory.
• Technical Literacy: Ability to accurately read and interpret complex electrical IFC and shop drawings.
• Project Background: Exposure to commercial, residential, infrastructure, or utility projects in the UAE is preferred.
• Soft Skills: Strong coordination, team management, and professional communication skills.
