Job Description:

The Solar PV Design Engineer will design photovoltaic systems, prepare technical documentation, and ensure full compliance with DEWA and TAQA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Solar PV systems for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Prepare PV system layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), calculations, and technical documentation.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable engineering standards and regulations.
• Utilize PV design software and AutoCAD to prepare accurate project designs.
• Coordinate with project teams to support the successful execution of Solar PV installations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates with relevant backgrounds are also welcome.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
• Familiarity with PVSyst, AutoCAD, and DEWA/TAQA Solar PV regulations.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and solar system design.
