Sonographer (Ultrasound Technician) – Abu Dhabi, UAE | Crown Hospital One Day Surgery

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnostic Imaging: Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynecological, musculoskeletal, and vascular scans.
• Equipment Optimization: Operate and maintain advanced ultrasound machinery, ensuring precise image capture, proper calibration, and consistent diagnostic quality.
• Clinical Collaboration: Partner with physicians and radiologists to provide high-fidelity images and critical clinical insights for diagnosis and surgical planning.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed patient reports and accurately document findings within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Patient Advocacy: Assist in patient preparation, explain complex procedures to reduce anxiety, and ensure comfort and confidentiality throughout the scan.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to strict hospital protocols, infection control measures, and DOH safety guidelines to maintain a sterile and safe clinical environment.

🔹 Requirements:

• Licensure: A valid and active DOH (Department of Health) / HAAD license is mandatory.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Imaging or Sonography.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience; prior experience in the UAE healthcare sector is highly preferred.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Hindi, Arabic, and English is required to communicate effectively with a diverse patient demographic.
• Technical Breadth: Demonstrated proficiency across multiple ultrasound modalities and diagnostic software.
• Soft Skills: Excellent teamwork abilities and a compassionate, patient-focused approach to clinical care.
