Job Description:

We are currently inviting applications for a Fellowship-Trained Specialist Ophthalmologist to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our clinical framework, requiring a professional who can provide comprehensive patient care and perform specialized surgical procedures for management and peer review. You will be responsible for diagnostic excellence in subspecialties such as Glaucoma, Cornea, or Pediatrics, while ensuring superior outcomes in Cataract Surgery. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Advanced Ophthalmology and a proactive approach to patient safety. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmic care and perform specialized surgical procedures to meet management and DOH standards.
• Perform advanced Cataract Surgery (Phacoemulsification) and subspecialty diagnostic treatments in Abu Dhabi.
• Liaise with the Human Resources and medical teams to collaborate within a supportive and quality-focused clinical environment.
• Maintain accurate medical records and surgical documentation to ensure 100% data integrity and patient safety.
• Utilize digital Information Technology and modern diagnostic equipment to monitor patient outcomes and surgical performance.

🔹 Requirements:

• Fellowship Training in Glaucoma, Cornea/Refractive Surgery, or Pediatric Ophthalmology.
• Valid DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) License or confirmed eligibility to obtain the license.
• Strong background in management of surgical cases, particularly proven experience in Cataract Surgery.
• Professional background in education or advanced fellowship training from a recognized medical institution.
• Ability to demonstrate operational excellence and precision in a high-tech clinical setting.
• Candidates with an established referral network or prior UAE/Abu Dhabi clinical experience will be given priority.
