Job Description:
Vortexen Dynamics Industrial Solutions is hiring an experienced Structural Engineer – Sales Associate (Fire Stopping) to join its technical sales team in Abu Dhabi. This hybrid role is designed for engineering professionals who can combine their technical mastery of fire protection with high-level sales support. You will be responsible for supporting technical sales activities, preparing detailed technical proposals, and ensuring that all fire stopping solutions comply with UL-approved standards. We are looking for a candidate who is adept at preparing AutoCAD drawings, managing BOQs, and acting as a technical consultant for our clients in a fast-paced industrial environment.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Support technical sales activities by providing expert engineering advice on fire stopping systems to clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare and review detailed AutoCAD drawings related to fire stopping installations and structural penetrations.
- Execute accurate cost estimation, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Ensure all proposed solutions strictly adhere to UL-approved fire stopping systems and international standards.
- Liaise with the Management team to develop competitive commercial and technical proposals.
- Coordinate with project execution and sales teams to ensure technical accuracy from proposal to site installation.
- Partner with Human Resources to participate in technical training and certifications for life safety systems.
- Utilize Information Technology tools to manage client databases and sales tracking reports.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience specifically in Fire Stopping systems.
- In-depth working knowledge of UL-approved fire stopping systems and industry standards.
- Proven proficiency in AutoCAD for technical drafting and design review.
- Strong experience in technical estimation, BOQ preparation, and commercial sales support.
- Excellent communication skills in English to handle client consultations and technical presentations professionally.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage technical and sales deadlines in a professional environment.
- Relative sponsorship only.
