Student Finance Manager / Senior Student Finance Analyst

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Student Finance professional to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is integral to managing financial planning, revenue reporting, and day-to-day student finance operations. You will be responsible for the accuracy of student billings, fee collections, and the reconciliation of complex accounts. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven professional with a deep understanding of student revenue forecasting and the ability to navigate sophisticated ERP environments. We are looking for a structured, detail-oriented analyst who can communicate effectively with parents and academic units while maintaining the highest standards of financial compliance.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive student revenue forecasting and complex financial analysis to support institutional planning.
- Conduct regular reconciliations for Student Finance, Accounts Receivable (AR), and the General Ledger (GL).
- Oversee the end-to-end management of student billing, fee collections, and daily finance operations.
- Prepare detailed financial dashboards and reports for the Management team to monitor enrollment and collection trends.
- Support internal and external audit processes by ensuring all student financial records are accurate and accessible.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding staff tuition benefits and payroll deductions for educational fees.
- Collaborate with academic units and central finance teams to ensure seamless multi-departmental financial workflows.
- Work with the IT and Engineering teams to maintain and optimize the financial modules of the school’s ERP system.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or specifically student finance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced modeling) and ERP systems (Experience with Oracle, Workday, or SAP is a major plus).
- Hands-on experience with billing cycles, AR management, and month-end reconciliations.
- Comfortable engaging directly with students, parents, and internal academic stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of financial reporting standards and UAE-specific financial practices.
- Highly detail-oriented, structured, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
