Job Description:
FVC is currently seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Technical Consultant – UCC & AV to join its Dubai-based team. This role is fundamental to our presales function, requiring a professional who can bridge the gap between complex client requirements and high-performance technical solutions. You will be responsible for designing customized AV and collaboration systems, conducting high-impact product demonstrations, and supporting the sales lifecycle through technical validation and proof-of-concept (PoC) sessions. We are looking for a motivated consultant with deep expertise in Cisco, Crestron, and AV-over-IP networking. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Assess client requirements to develop customized Audio-Visual and Unified Communication (UCC) solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and detailed solution presentations for stakeholders.
- Conduct high-level product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (PoC) sessions for channel partners and clients.
- Provide technical support during the sales process, responding to RFPs/RFQs with competitive bid submissions.
- Validate system designs and documentation using engineering tools like AutoCAD or Visio.
- Offer remote and on-site assistance for system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Liaise with management and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and technical compliance.
- Stay current with emerging trends in AV-over-IP, digital signage, and global UCC advancements.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in AV/UCC presales, solution consulting, or technical engineering.
- Strong technical expertise in Cisco Video Conferencing and Control Systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron).
- Proficiency in AV design tools such as AutoCAD, Visio, or D-Tools.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, Audio DSP systems, and Digital Signage.
- Exceptional presentation and technical documentation skills for a professional management environment.
- Certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or vendor-specific credentials are highly preferred.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues independently.
