Job Description:
The Accountant will manage daily financial transactions, accounting operations, general ledger reconciliation, and tax filings for the institute in Dubai. Based near Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), Dubai, this detail-oriented finance professional will maintain accurate financial records, execute month-end closing activities, prepare financial reports, and ensure full compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
- Manage daily accounting transactions and general ledger entries.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
- Reconcile accounts and support financial reporting processes.
- Coordinate with management on accounting and financial matters.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience in the UAE.
- Thorough understanding of UAE Tax Law, including VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), Dubai.
