Job Description:
The Logistics Assistant will oversee import and export documentation, customs clearance workflows, and Letter of Credit (LC) banking coordination for commercial trading operations in Dubai. Based in Dubai, this detail-oriented trade professional will manage shipping records, conduct inventory stock reconciliations, liaise with banks and customs officials, and ensure prompt processing of international shipments. Candidates holding their own visa are preferred.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage import and export shipping documentation.
- Support shipment planning, preparation, and clearance activities.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely documentation and shipment processing.
- Maintain accurate records and perform stock reconciliation between imports and exports.
- Prepare and submit Letter of Credit (LC) documents while ensuring compliance with banking requirements.
- Liaise with banks regarding LC/LOA documentation, amendments, and submissions.
- Ensure logistics processes are completed accurately and within required timelines.
🔹 Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in logistics operations, shipping documentation, or trade compliance is preferred.
- Solid understanding of UAE customs regulations, import/export procedures, and clearance protocols.
- Hands-on knowledge of Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and bank coordination processes.
- Candidates holding an independent/own visa are preferred for immediate onboarding.
- Strong coordination, organizational, data reconciliation, and professional communication skills.
