Job Description:
Unimix Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join its HSE team in Dubai. Based in Dubai, this occupational safety specialist will conduct regular site inspections and safety audits, implement hazard identification procedures, perform risk assessments, deliver safety awareness training, and ensure strict adherence to Dubai regulatory standards and company HSE guidelines.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and workplace assessments.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective safety measures.
- Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
- Monitor and enforce safety procedures across project sites.
- Prepare safety reports and maintain HSE documentation.
- Provide safety guidance and awareness training to employees.
- Support the implementation of best safety practices within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
🔹 Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in HSE / Safety, with at least 2 years within the construction or ready-mix concrete sector preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE occupational health and safety regulations, safety auditing, and risk assessment procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead safety inspections and employee training sessions.
- A valid UAE driving license and additional HSE certifications are preferred.
