Job Description:
On Plan Real Estate is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its finance department in Dubai. Based in Dubai, this financial accounting specialist will oversee day-to-day general ledger operations, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, process bank and vendor reconciliations, ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE VAT regulations, utilize SAP/ERP accounting systems, and support external audit coordination.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare vendor payments, invoices, and account reconciliations.
- Perform bank, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and other accounting adjustments.
- Support financial and management reporting.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide required financial documentation.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain vendor master data and support procurement-related accounting processes.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on professional accounting experience.
- Proven background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards and UAE VAT compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in SAP or equivalent enterprise ERP software along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical abilities, excellent organization, and clear communication skills.
- Must be currently available to attend an in-person interview in Dubai.
