Job Description:
The Production Manager will plan and lead complete manufacturing operations, manage production teams, drive Lean Manufacturing and OEE optimization, coordinate with Maintenance and Quality departments, enforce GMP and HSE compliance, and manage material utilization across UAE manufacturing facilities.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
- Oversee the complete manufacturing process from raw material receipt through finished goods.
- Lead, develop, and manage production teams to achieve operational targets.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, Stores, Planning, and Logistics departments.
- Drive process improvements, productivity initiatives, OEE enhancement, and waste reduction.
- Ensure sufficient availability and efficient utilization of raw and packaging materials.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and work to minimize machine downtime.
- Monitor production costs, labour efficiency, and material utilization.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, GMP, SOPs, and internal quality standards.
- Prepare production reports and provide performance updates to senior management.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of manufacturing experience with at least 5 years in a Production Manager or Assistant Production Manager role.
- Experience in FMCG, personal care, hygiene, cosmetics, tissue converting, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, OEE, GMP, CAPA, and process optimization.
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Focus.
