Job Description:

The English Teacher – KS2 will plan and deliver engaging English and Global Perspective lessons under the British Curriculum, assess student performance, maintain a positive classroom environment, and promote student academic and personal growth.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English and Global Perspective lessons aligned with the British Curriculum.
• Support students’ academic progress while building confidence and critical thinking skills.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to school initiatives.
• Promote student wellbeing while encouraging a lifelong love of learning.

🔹 Requirements:

• Qualified English Teacher with experience teaching the British Curriculum at the KS2 level.
• Bachelor’s Degree in English or Education with a recognized Teaching Qualification (PGCE/B.Ed. or equivalent).
• Proven track record of achieving outstanding student outcomes.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and pastoral care skills.
• Successful completion of enhanced pre-employment background, qualification, and reference checks.
