Eligibility Criteria

Education / Qualification

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business and/or Commerce from a local or international University, College or Institute recognized by HEC of Pakistan.
  • Master’s degree in Business and/or professional certifications such as Economics, Accounts, AIBP, JAIBP or any other related certification will be preferred.

Age

  • Maximum 26 years as on the last date of submission of application.

Experience

  • Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant banking experience are encouraged to apply.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new SME clients to grow the Bank’s SME lending portfolio.
  • Develop and execute client acquisition strategies in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Promote the Bank’s financing products, including working capital, trade finance and term loans.
  • Manage and enhance existing client relationships to ensure portfolio retention and growth.
  • Regularly review the financial health and performance of clients to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Conduct periodic client visits and provide updates on portfolio performance.
  • Analyze financial statements and business models of SME clients to assess creditworthiness.
  • Structure and recommend appropriate financing solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit proposals in compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure credit facilities are approved within the risk appetite of the Bank.
  • Monitor accounts for early warning signals and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Maintain compliance with the Bank’s policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide seamless client service.
  • Achieve financial and non-financial targets, including revenue, portfolio growth and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the Bank’s overall strategy by meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor.

Other Knowledge / Competencies

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively and meet assigned targets.
  • Basic understanding of banking products and services, with exposure to SME Banking.
  • Good geographical knowledge of the assigned area and surrounding business areas.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
  • Sales orientation with the ability to identify business opportunities and achieve assigned targets.
  • Sound knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations and regulatory requirements related to SME Lending.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer relationship management skills.
  • Strong understanding of Credit Lending, SME Financing and Trade Finance.
