Job Description:

The Junior Accountant will process daily financial transactions, manage accounts payable and receivable ledgers, maintain general ledger documentation, conduct bank reconciliations, and collaborate with senior financial management teams to support accurate month-end financial reporting.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day general accounting workflows, journal vouchers, and double-entry book-keeping.
• Process supplier invoices, customer billings, payment receipts, and verify supporting financial documentation.
• Maintain organized accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) ledgers, tracking outstanding balances.
• Perform periodic bank reconciliations, track petty cash expenditures, and resolve discrepancies in ledger entries.
• Assist senior accountants with month-end closing procedures, trial balances, and financial statement preparation.
• Archive and manage paper and digital accounting records to maintain strict audit readiness.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Entry-level experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance administration (prior UAE accounting exposure is preferred).
• Solid understanding of core accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and ledger reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, VLOOKUP, formulas) and exposure to accounting software.
• High level of numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Candidates currently residing in the UAE are strongly preferred.
