Job Description:
The IT Assistant will serve as the initial point of contact for technical desktop support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain network infrastructure, support POS and AV equipment, and collaborate with department management to maintain IT system uptime. Always check IT positions for similar technical opportunities across the region.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline IT helpdesk support, resolving end-user hardware, software, and application requests.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi connectivity, POS terminals, and peripheral devices.
- Assemble, configure, maintain, and repair workstation PCs, laptops, and operating system installations.
- Support and troubleshoot Audio Visual (AV) equipment, conference systems, and digital display setups.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers for hardware maintenance and warranty service requests.
- Monitor IT network performance, maintain hardware inventory registers, and document technical support tickets.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Freshers, interns, and entry-level IT candidates are welcome to apply.
- Fundamental understanding of Windows OS, network protocols, hardware component troubleshooting, and MS Office.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced hospitality environments in Dubai.
