Job Description:

The Junior Accountant will manage daily financial entries, handle accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, maintain UAE VAT and Corporate Tax records, process invoices, and collaborate with finance management to maintain accurate general ledgers in Dubai.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily journal entries, payment vouchers, sales receipts, and petty cash transactions accurately in the accounting ledger.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), track customer balances, and support payment follow-ups.
• Prepare bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations, identifying and resolving ledger discrepancies.
• Maintain organized digital and physical financial documentation in full compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
• Assist senior finance team members with monthly closing schedules, audit preparation, and basic reporting summaries.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Prior hands-on experience as a Junior Accountant, Accounts Assistant, or Finance Assistant.
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles, bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and financial documentation.
• Working proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar ERP systems along with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong numerical accuracy, analytical problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
