Job Description:

The Senior IT Field Engineer will deliver hands-on client support, manage server environments, configure network firewalls, and resolve infrastructure issues under technical management in Dubai. Discover further systems and technical infrastructure roles on our IT jobs portal.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional onsite IT field support, troubleshooting, and infrastructure maintenance across client environments.
• Manage, configure, and maintain physical servers, Windows Server OS, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Group Policies.
• Administer cloud enterprise tools including Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
• Deploy and troubleshoot network topologies, VLANs, IPsec VPNs, routing protocols, switches, and enterprise Wi-Fi systems.
• Configure and manage virtualization platforms, including VMware vSphere, ESXi, and Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
• Implement and monitor network security appliances including FortiGate, Sophos, Cisco, and Ubiquiti firewalls.
• Execute backup and disaster recovery operations using enterprise solutions such as Veeam, Acronis, and Azure Backup.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, network diagrams, and service ticket logs for client infrastructure.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or MSP field support.
• In-depth technical knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and network security firewalls.
• Solid expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and cloud backup systems.
• Prior experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSP) or System Integrators in the UAE is strongly preferred.
• Strong client-facing skills, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to travel to customer sites across Dubai and the Emirates.
