Pakistan Air Force  invites applications to join PAF as Commissioned Officer in Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC). Interested candidates can make online registration on official website https://joinpaf.gov.pk/ before 17th August 2025. The direct link to apply online is also shared in the article. It invites applications from both male & female Pakistani nationals for the following positions in medical branch.

PAF Commissioned Officer Details

160 General Duty Pilot GD (P)

  • Age: 16 to 22 years on 15 April 2026
  • Nationality: Male / Female citizen of Pakistan
  • Marital Status: Unmarried
  • Height: 5 feet 4 inches / 163 cm
  • Vision: 6/6 each eye (without glasses)
  • Qualification: Minimum 65% marks in aggregate in:
    • F.Sc (Pre-Engineering / Pre-Medical / Computer Science)
    • A-Level with Physics, Maths, Computer Science / Biology
    • F.Sc with Physics and any two subjects: Maths, Statistics, Computer Science and Biology
    • Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Avionics / Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Process Control / Telecommunication / Automation / Computer / Software
  • Special Award: BS Degree in Aviation Management / BE in Aerospace / Avionics from CAE
  • Training Period: 4 years

GD (P) Supplementary Course (SSC)

  • Age: 21 to 24 years on 15 April 2026
  • Nationality: Male citizen of Pakistan

  • Qualification: BS (Maths / Physics / Chemistry / Biology), BE (all disciplines), MBBS / BDS equivalent degree with minimum 60% or 2.5/4 CGPA from HEC recognized university
  • Training Period: 2 years

JAG (Legal) Branch (136 CSC SSC)

  • Age: 20 to 30 years on 15 April 2026
  • Nationality: Male citizens of Pakistan
  • Marital Status: Married / Unmarried
  • Height: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches / 163 cm
  • Qualification: LLB / LLM with minimum 2.7/4 CGPA (semester system) or 62.5% (annual system) from HEC recognized institution

106 Aeronautical Engineering Course

Step-by-Step Guide to Join PAF in Medical Branch

  1. Online registration at www.joinpaf.gov.pk.
  2. Intelligence Test followed by Academic Test in relevant subjects at respective I & SC.
  3. Initial Medical Examination and Interview at PAF I & SC.
  4. Initial Physical Test:
    1. Running: 1 Mile in 08 Minutes
    2. Push-Ups: 15 in 02 Minutes
    3. Sit-Ups: 20 in 02 Minutes
    4. Chin-Ups: 03 in 02 Minutes
  5. Psychological Test of shortlisted candidates only.
  6. Interview by AHQ Selection Board
  7. Final medical examination at CMB, Lahore
  8. Interview by Final AHQ Selection Board
  9. Final Selection by AHQ in order of merit.
