Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (Pak-EPA) invites applications from Pakistani Nationals for the following posts on a purely Contract basis till the completion of the project. All positions are based in Islamabad and on open merit.

1. National Project Manager (PPS-9)

  • Age Limit: 35-50 years
  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Qualification: Ph.D/ M.Phil. or equivalent in Agriculture Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Molecular Biology / Microbiology / Genetic Engineering / Biological Science / Agriculture.
  • Experience: 12 years in BS 17 or above in Govt. / Semi Govt. / Reputable Organization. Experience in Biotechnology / Biosafety related assignments, knowledge of relevant MEAs, National Regulations.
  • Skills: Possession of good interpersonal/leadership skills and ability of tracking the progress of the project. The incumbent will act as overall in-charge of the project execution.

2. Law Officer (PPS-7)

  • Age Limit: 30-50 Years
  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Qualification: Graduate (LLB).
  • Experience: 05 years experience in Govt. / Semi Govt. / Reputable Organizations.
  • Skills: Good understanding of legal and policy issues in government sector.

3. Field Coordinator (PPS-6)

  • Age Limit: 25-35 years
  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Qualification: M.Sc/BS Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Agriculture / Microbiology / Biological Sciences.
  • Skills: Practical knowledge of Biosafety, Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Lab Procedures.

4. Inspector / Field Officer (PPS-5)

  • Age Limit: 25-35 years
  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Qualification: Second class BS degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biological Sciences, or Agriculture.
  • Skills: Practical knowledge of Biosafety, Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering. Understanding of lab techniques.

5. Data Entry Operator (PPS-4)

  • Age Limit: 18-25 years
  • No. of Posts: 02
  • Qualification: F.Sc., ICS or equivalent.
  • Skills: Knowledge of research techniques. IT skills/Data retrieval/collection and dissemination.

📝 Application Terms and Conditions:

  • Application Method: Interested candidates must apply online through the National Job Portal at www.njp.gov.pk before October 31, 2025. Direct applications will not be entertained.
  • Government Employees: Candidates already in Government Service should apply through the proper channel along with an NOC.
  • Age Relaxation: A general age relaxation of 5 years and others as admissible under the rules will be granted in the upper age limit.
  • Test/Interview: Only short-listed candidates will be called for a written test/interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.
