🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Quantity Take-offs: Assist in performing accurate quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings for material procurement.
  • Measurement: Conduct detailed measurements of works on-site and through drawings to support progress claims and cost estimations.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate records of all quantity surveying activities and project-related documentation.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with site engineers and project managers to ensure commercial activities align with project progress.
  • Material Analysis: Apply a strong understanding of construction materials to ensure accurate costing and resource allocation.
  • Software Application: Utilize AutoCAD and MS Excel to prepare technical summaries and measurement sheets.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience; UAE experience is considered a significant advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing interpretation and MS Excel for complex data management.
  • Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of construction materials, structural drawings, and standard methods of measurement.
  • Attributes: Highly detail-oriented, proactive, well-organized, and a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
