Job Description / Role
πΉ Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide first-level (L1) assistance for desktop systems, Windows environments, and peripheral hardware.
- Network Troubleshooting: Assist in resolving issues related to routers, switches, and general LAN/WAN connectivity.
- Protocol Management: Handle basic tasks involving TCP/IP, VLAN configurations, DHCP assignments, and DNS troubleshooting.
- Issue Escalation: Identify complex technical bottlenecks and ensure timely escalation to L2 and L3 support teams.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of support tickets, resolution steps, and hardware inventory changes.
- User Assistance: Support end-users with software installations, email configurations, and connectivity problems to ensure operational continuity.
πΉ Requirements:
- Location: Candidates must be currently residing in the UAE.
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in networking and desktop support.
- Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of core networking concepts (OSI Model, IP Addressing) and Windows Desktop OS.
- Certification: A CCNA or equivalent networking certification is considered a strong advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or Networking.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills to support non-technical users.
- Availability: Preference will be given to candidates available for immediate joining.
