English Teacher (Upper Elementary & Middle School) – Dubai, UAE | Dubai International School, Al Qouz

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Instructional Delivery: Plan and deliver creative, student-focused English lessons aligned with the American Common Core Curriculum.
• Differentiated Learning: Adapt teaching methodologies to support diverse learner needs, ensuring inclusive education for all students.
• Data-Driven Planning: Utilize assessment data to inform lesson planning and implement targeted interventions to improve student literacy outcomes.
• Inspection Readiness: Support school-wide evidence-based improvement initiatives in line with KHDA inspection frameworks.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a dynamic and disciplined learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic growth.
• Collaborative Improvement: Work with the English department to refine curriculum maps and share best practices for upper elementary and middle school pedagogy.

🔹 Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or English Language/Literature.
• Language Proficiency: Valid IELTS score of 7.5 or above is mandatory.
• Curriculum Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the American Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for English Language Arts.
• Experience: Proven track record of teaching English in schools within the UAE or Gulf region.
• Residency: Candidates must currently reside in the UAE; preference for those ready for an immediate start.
• Inspection Skills: Experience in managing KHDA or equivalent international school inspections and evidence gathering.
