Junior Hostess – Palm Jumeirah, Dubai | Apollo Bistro

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Welcome: Greet and welcome guests in a warm, professional, and sophisticated manner upon arrival.
• Flow Management: Escort and seat guests efficiently to optimize table turnover and restaurant flow.
• Reservations: Assist with managing the reservation book and coordinating table assignments.
• Communication: Handle incoming phone calls, provide restaurant information, and manage guest inquiries.
• Reception Maintenance: Keep the host desk and reception area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary menus or materials.
• Team Support: Proactively support the service team during peak operating hours to maintain service standards.

🔹 Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing hospitality role; fine dining background is a major plus.
• Software Skills: Prior knowledge or experience with SevenRooms or similar reservation platforms is an advantage.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with total fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Attributes: Polite, professional, and enthusiastic attitude with a high standard of personal grooming.
• Performance: Ability to multitask and maintain a calm, welcoming demeanor under pressure.
• Availability: Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment on Palm Jumeirah.
