Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Leadership: Lead and manage end-to-end statutory audits for a diverse client base including startups, SMEs, and corporate groups.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure every engagement strictly adheres to IFRS, International Standards on Auditing (ISA), and UAE regulatory frameworks.
- Reporting Excellence: Review and finalize complex audit reports, management letters, and statutory submissions with meticulous accuracy.
- Integrated Solutions: Collaborate with internal tax, bookkeeping, and compliance departments to provide seamless, holistic financial solutions to clients.
- Team Mentorship: Supervise and review the work of junior auditors, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth.
- Practice Growth: Support the strategic development of the Audit & Assurance function, including client onboarding and methodology enhancement.
🔹 Requirements:
- Professional Credentials: Fully qualified CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent; registration as a UAE Approved Auditor with the Ministry of Economy is a significant advantage.
- Experience Profile: Minimum 5 years of experience in external audit with deep exposure to SME and mid-market sectors.
- Firm Pedigree: Prior experience with Top-10 global audit firms is highly preferred.
- Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and evolving UAE corporate and tax legislations.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional client-handling, communication, and leadership skills with a strategic mindset.
- Residency: Candidate must be currently based in Dubai.
