Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision: Lead and support the purchasing team to ensure all procurement activities are timely and aligned with hotel needs.
- Supplier Relations: Build, maintain, and evaluate strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Strategic Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules to achieve significant cost savings without compromising on quality.
- Inventory Coordination: Closely monitor stock levels and coordinate with department heads to prevent operational interruptions.
- Compliance & Policy: Ensure all purchasing actions strictly follow hotel budgetary controls and quality guidelines.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare regular reports for management regarding procurement performance, cost analysis, and supplier evaluations.
🔹 Requirements:
- Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in purchasing or procurement, with a strong preference for the Hospitality sector.
- Leadership: Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a small team.
- Availability: Candidates must be locally available in the UAE and prepared to attend a face-to-face interview in Abu Dhabi.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office tools (Advanced Excel is a plus).
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and organizational capabilities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management.
- Added Advantage: Possession of a valid UAE driving license.
