🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• L2 Technical Support: Resolve complex OS-level incidents for CentOS, Ubuntu, and RHEL environments, performing deep root cause analysis (RCA).
• Server Management: Execute full-cycle server installation, configuration, and security hardening to maintain system stability and reliability.
• Security & Access: Manage user permissions, SSH keys, and access control policies while ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards.
• Storage & LVM: Administer file systems and disk management using Logical Volume Management (LVM) to ensure optimal data handling.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage package updates, kernel patches, and system upgrades within structured Change Management windows.
• Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor system health and resource utilization to ensure maximum uptime and availability.

🔹 Requirements:

• Professional Experience: 3–6 years of intensive, hands-on experience in Linux system administration (5+ total years preferred).
• OS Expertise: Expert knowledge of RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu distributions in a production support capacity.
• Technical Toolkit: Solid understanding of Networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, SSH) and Shell Scripting (Bash/Python) for automation.
• Process Alignment: Familiarity with ITIL frameworks (Incident, Problem, and Change Management) is a significant advantage.
• Preferred Skills: Exposure to VMware, AWS/Azure cloud platforms, and certifications like RHCSA or RHCE.
• Attributes: Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with L3 teams and vendors.
