Procurement Officer – Abu Dhabi, UAE | Star Services LLC

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Sourcing: Identify and procure specialized materials including pipe supports, pipe spools, structural steel, and welding consumables.
• Vendor Management: Develop and maintain a robust network of suppliers within the ICAD/Mussafah market, ensuring competitive pricing and reliability.
• ADNOC Compliance: Ensure all procured items meet the specific technical requirements and certifications required for ADNOC-related projects.
• Coordination: Liaise closely with project engineers and the fabrication team to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules.
• Negotiation: Conduct commercial negotiations to secure the best value while maintaining uncompromising quality standards.
• Documentation: Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, including RFQs, Comparative Statements, Purchase Orders, and expediting reports.

🔹 Requirements:

• Industry Background: 3–5 years of procurement experience specifically within the Oil & Gas or structural steel fabrication sectors.
• Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of fabrication materials, welding standards, and piping components.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
• Market Knowledge: In-depth familiarity with the Mussafah/ICAD industrial supplier landscape.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to perform detailed cost-benefit analyses and technical comparisons.
• Communication: Exceptional coordination and negotiation skills to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
