Procurement Officer – Dubai, UAE | Heritage Offshore & Marine Engineering Services L.L.C.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Purchasing: Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and RFQ generation to purchase order (PO) issuance and delivery tracking.
• Inventory Control: Oversee workshop inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and implement rigorous inventory planning to prevent shortages.
• Supplier Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with local and international vendors, ensuring reliability and quality of marine-grade materials.
• Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to optimize procurement timing and improve overall cost efficiency.
• Cost Optimization: Analyze purchasing patterns and historical data to identify opportunities for bulk discounts and long-term supply agreements.
• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities strictly adhere to company policies, maritime industry standards, and best practices.

🔹 Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management, ideally within the engineering or marine sector.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using procurement systems, ERP software, and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Core Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage fast-tracked purchasing requirements under pressure.
• Industry Awareness: Understanding of the technical specifications of materials used in offshore and workshop environments.
• Professionalism: A results-oriented approach with high attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
