Planning Engineer / Senior Planning Engineer – Dubai, UAE | Group AMANA

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Baseline Development: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using CPM, ensuring alignment with contract milestones and resource availability.
• Claims & EOT: Lead the identification of project delays, performing forensic schedule analysis to prepare comprehensive Extension of Time (EOT) claims and supporting documentation.
• Regulatory Coordination: Navigate UAE authority regulations and approval processes, ensuring all planning activities comply with local municipality and utility requirements.
• Stakeholder Leadership: Conduct and lead project coordination meetings, communicating schedule variances and recovery plans to clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Reporting & Data: Utilize Power BI (advantageous) and other project control tools to generate high-level progress dashboards and performance metrics.
• Project Control: Monitor daily progress against the baseline, identifying critical path risks and recommending proactive mitigation strategies.

🔹 Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related) is mandatory.
• Location: Candidates must be currently based in the UAE with strong exposure to local construction projects.
• Technical Expertise: Proven background in project planning, with specific involvement in EOT preparation and claims management.
• Authority Knowledge: Strong hands-on experience dealing with UAE authority regulations, approvals, and NOC processes.
• Software Skills: Mastery of Primavera P6 and MS Project. Experience with Power BI for data visualization is a significant advantage.
• Personality: Confident and proactive with excellent communication skills; capable of engaging effectively with multiple stakeholders.
