Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Receivables Management: Oversee the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring timely invoicing, monitoring aged debtors, and supporting collection efforts.
- Payables Lifecycle: Manage the Accounts Payable process, including vendor invoice verification, payment scheduling, and maintaining creditor relations.
- Financial Reporting: Utilize advanced MS Excel to perform financial analysis and prepare monthly reports for management review.
- Ledger Maintenance: Support daily accounting operations by maintaining accurate records in the general ledger and ensuring all entries follow standard principles.
- System Integration: Work within accounting frameworks (with a preference for those familiar with MS Dynamics) to streamline data entry and reporting.
- Operational Support: Assist in month-end closings and routine financial reconciliations to ensure the integrity of the company’s financial data.
🔹 Requirements:
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of standard accounting principles and practices (IFRS).
- Experience: Proven hands-on experience specifically in managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
- Software Skills: High level of proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas) is mandatory.
- ERP Familiarity: Experience with MS Dynamics is considered a significant added advantage.
- UAE Context: Prior accounting experience within the UAE market is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Soft Skills: Organized, analytical mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment.
