Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing: Identify and secure high-quality raw materials and chemical additives essential for upstream oil and gas operations.
- Supplier Development: Build and maintain long-term, strategic partnerships with global manufacturers, regional suppliers, and trading entities.
- Commercial Negotiation: Lead pricing negotiations and perform detailed cost analyses to secure highly competitive commercial terms.
- End-to-End Cycle: Manage the complete sourcing lifecycle, from initial inquiry and technical specification review to final delivery and inspection.
- Market Intelligence: Leverage deep knowledge of the UAE chemical market to mitigate supply chain risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Vendor Management: Monitor vendor performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines.
🔹 Requirements:
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional experience in procurement or sourcing, specifically within the Chemicals or Oil & Gas sectors.
- Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of the UAE and regional oilfield supply landscape.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to lead high-stakes negotiations and cost-benefit analyses.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Supply Chain, Business, or Chemical Engineering.
- Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with quick decision-making cycles.
