Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare, portion, and meticulously pack pastry products based on the high volume of daily orders.
- Quality Gatekeeping: Ensure every item has correct labeling, accurate weight/quantities, and adheres to the brand’s aesthetic presentation standards.
- Kitchen Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the pastry production team and delivery drivers to meet strict dispatch windows.
- Commis Support: Utilize your culinary skills to assist in basic pastry preparation tasks during peak operational hours.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain a clinical level of cleanliness in dispatch areas, adhering strictly to HACCP standards and food safety guidelines.
- Inventory Vigilance: Immediately identify and report stock shortages, transit damages, or any batches that fail to meet quality benchmarks.
🔹 Requirements:
- Experience: Proven background as a Commis Pastry or in a similar role specifically within the Dubai F&B market.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of pastry handling, shelf-life management, and temperature-controlled storage methods.
- Operational Skills: Strong organizational ability to manage complex dispatch schedules in a high-pressure environment.
- Mindset: A responsible, detail-oriented team player with a passion for maintainining culinary excellence.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work rotational shifts, including early mornings, weekends, or holidays as per bakery needs.
- Education: Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or relevant pastry training.
