HSE Officer – UAE | 5 Energy Global

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Implementation: Implement and enforce comprehensive HSE policies and procedures across all active project sites.
• Hazard Identification: Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement immediate corrective actions.
• Compliance Reporting: Prepare detailed safety reports, incident documentations, and inspection logs in strict accordance with UAE regulatory requirements.
• Safety Culture: Promote a proactive safety culture through regular toolbox talks, safety inductions, and on-site training sessions.
• Incident Management: Lead investigations into near-misses or accidents, identifying root causes and preventing recurrence through structured safety updates.
• Regulatory Liaison: Ensure all activities remain compliant with UAE HSE laws, local municipality standards, and industry-specific safety benchmarks.

🔹 Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 8 years of proven experience in Health, Safety, and Environment roles within the UAE.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, or professional certification (NEBOSH/IOSH) in HSE or a related field.
• Legal Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of UAE HSE laws, OSHAD requirements, and federal safety regulations.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written English; ability to coordinate effectively with project managers and site laborers alike.
• Reporting: Proficient in preparing clear, data-driven safety reports and technical documentation.
• Attributes: Ability to work independently under pressure, high attention to detail, and a strong sense of professional responsibility.
