🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Expense Management: Handle all daily accounting activities at the construction site, including the meticulous tracking of site-level costs.
  • Petty Cash Control: Manage petty cash funds, ensuring all disbursements are supported by valid site vouchers and authorized approvals.
  • Invoicing & Vouchers: Prepare financial vouchers and invoices, and proactively follow up on outstanding site-related payments.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers and supporting documents, ensuring they are audit-ready at all times.
  • Head Office Coordination: Liaise regularly with the central finance department for financial reporting, budget updates, and internal audits.
  • Budget Monitoring: Assist in monitoring the project budget at the site level, flagging any potential expense overruns to project management.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience; mandatory experience in on-site construction accounting.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in specialized accounting software and advanced MS Excel for data management.
  • Work Environment: Proven ability to work independently and maintain discipline in a demanding, site-based environment.
  • Attributes: High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage high-volume site documentation.
