🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Specialized Material Control: Manage a diverse inventory of hardwood, including Teak, Oak, Beech, White Wood, Plywood, and MDF, with strict quality oversight.
  • Stock Preservation: Ensure proper vertical or horizontal stacking, accurate labeling, and environmental protection of wood materials to prevent warping or damage.
  • Inventory Documentation: Receive, inspect, and issue materials strictly against GRNs, delivery notes, and approved project requisitions.
  • Technical Tracking: Maintain granular records detailing quantity, specific dimensions (size/thickness), grades, and meticulous wastage monitoring.
  • Reporting: Prepare and update daily/weekly stock status reports to provide real-time visibility to the procurement and sales teams.
  • Wastage Mitigation: Coordinate closely with site teams to ensure timely supply while proactively minimizing loss, damage, or material degradation.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Domain Expertise: Mandatory hands-on knowledge of hardwood materials and their specific storage requirements.
  • Experience: Proven track record as a Storekeeper specifically within the hardwood or building materials sector.
  • Education: Diploma or Certificate relevant to Storekeeping, Warehouse Management, or a related technical field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with the ability to manage complex sizing and grading systems.
  • Residency: Candidates must be currently available in the UAE for an immediate start.
  • Attributes: High attention to detail and the ability to work independently under operational pressure.
