🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • BOQ Preparation: Prepare precise Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates for high-end interior fit-out and renovation projects.
  • Technical Review: Analyze project drawings, specifications, and specialized material requirements to develop accurate and competitive pricing models.
  • Procurement Coordination: Liaise with a vast network of suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive quotations for labor and materials.
  • Financial Control: Support end-to-end budget planning and cost monitoring to ensure projects remain within financial targets from inception to handover.
  • Tendering Excellence: Lead tendering activities, including detailed bid reviews, risk assessments, and cost-benefit evaluations.
  • Team Synergy: Work closely with project managers to align financial forecasts with real-time delivery timelines.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in construction or interior fit-out estimation within the UAE market.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as CostX, Bluebeam, or AutoCAD is essential.
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of UAE market rates, local material suppliers, and specialized subcontractors.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Attributes: Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines under project pressure.
  • Preference: Membership in professional bodies like RICS or AIQS is highly valued.
