Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a school-wide digital learning strategy that aligns with American Curriculum standards and KHDA requirements.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the school’s ICT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and educational hardware.
- Academic Integration: Support teachers in integrating advanced technology into the classroom to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Departmental Management: Lead and mentor the ICT department, ensuring efficient technical support and professional development for staff.
- System Governance: Manage school Information Management Systems (IMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to ensure data security and operational efficiency.
🔹 Requirements:
- Leadership Background: Proven management experience in an ICT leadership role within a K-12 environment.
- Curriculum Expertise: Deep familiarity with the American Curriculum and how technology supports its learning objectives.
- Local Experience: Mandatory prior experience working in UAE schools, with a solid grasp of local regulatory and academic standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or Education Technology (Master’s preferred).
- Communication: Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Availability: Candidates available to join immediately will be given strong preference.
