Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and dependable Accountant / Accounts Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. This dual-function role is designed for a versatile professional who can handle daily accounting transactions while providing essential administrative support to our warehouse and trading operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all financial entries are accurate, petty cash is reconciled, and documentation is maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is an energetic individual with localized UAE experience who thrives in a fast-paced industrial setting and is ready to take on immediate responsibilities.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of financial records.
  • Monitor, disburse, and reconcile petty cash accurately on a daily basis.
  • Perform precise data entry for inventory movements, sales, and procurement activities.
  • Provide essential administrative and clerical support to the Management team.
  • Assist in the preparation of invoices, Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), and basic monthly financial reports.
  • Maintain highly organized physical and digital accounting and filing systems.
  • Support coordination tasks between the finance office and warehouse floor regarding stock discrepancies.
  • Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding staff attendance and local expense reimbursements.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering or maintenance teams for warehouse equipment billing and vendor documentation.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of proven accounting experience within the UAE.
  • Previous experience working in Trading or Warehouse environments is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in standard accounting systems/software and intermediate Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage high volumes of documentation accurately.
  • Organized, reliable, and capable of working independently under minimal supervision.
  • Must be currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining.
