Job Description:
We are currently hiring an experienced and highly capable MEP Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale construction projects in Abu Dhabi. This senior-level role is designed for a results-driven professional with extensive UAE market experience and a masterly background in managing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works during the critical construction delivery phase. You will be the primary authority for MEP execution, responsible for coordinating with consultants and contractors to ensure systems are integrated seamlessly. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can resolve complex onsite challenges while maintaining strict compliance with Abu Dhabi Municipality and Civil Defense regulations.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end execution of MEP works for major engineering projects in Abu Dhabi.
- Coordinate extensively with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Oversee the construction delivery phase, ensuring MEP systems are installed on time and within quality benchmarks.
- Ensure full compliance with local authority regulations, including ADM, ADDC, and Civil Defense.
- Drive onsite performance by resolving technical bottlenecks and managing project timelines effectively.
- Liaise with the senior Management to provide progress updates and strategic technical advice.
- Partner with Human Resources to manage technical staffing levels and site-based safety training for MEP teams.
- Utilize Information Technology and BIM tools to track project milestones and technical documentation.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum of 15+ years of extensive experience in MEP project management.
- Proven track record of managing major construction projects within the Abu Dhabi or wider UAE market.
- Strong hands-on expertise specifically during the construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE local authority regulations (ADM, ADDC, Etisalat, Civil Defense).
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic knowledge is a significant advantage.
- High organizational capability with a focus on quality assurance and safety.
