Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Experienced Accountant to join our healthcare operations in Umm Al Quwain. This role is essential for maintaining the financial stability of our medical facilities, requiring a professional who can navigate the unique accounting complexities of the healthcare sector. You will be responsible for managing daily bookkeeping, overseeing revenue cycles, and ensuring that our financial reporting meets the highest regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who understands the importance of accuracy in a clinical environment and is ready to support our group’s expansion through robust financial management and compliance.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial reports, statements, and management summaries for the healthcare group.
- Monitor departmental budgets, track expenses, and analyze financial performance against clinical targets.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE financial laws, VAT regulations, and internal healthcare policies.
- Coordinate with the Human Resources department to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing via WPS.
- Utilize Information Technology tools and specialized medical billing software to track revenue cycles.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to provide necessary financial documentation.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and implement internal controls to safeguard group assets.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven professional accounting experience.
- Prior experience within the Healthcare or Medical sector is a significant advantage.
- Hands-on expertise in VAT filing, payroll processing, and managing complex financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of UAE financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and multitasking skills.
- Professional communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
