Job Description:
Yas Projects is urgently seeking a highly organized and experienced Site Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities at our project site in Al Ain. This role is designed for a professional who possesses hands-on experience in construction finance and is capable of providing accurate, real-time financial tracking. You will be responsible for coordinating closely with the Head Office to ensure seamless reporting, budget compliance, and regulatory adherence. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in site-level material and labor cost tracking, ensuring that every transaction reflects the highest standards of financial integrity.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and detailed site-level accounting records while monitoring all daily operational expenses.
- Track material costs, equipment expenditures, and labor expenses against project budgets.
- Manage and reconcile petty cash transactions for site-specific requirements.
- Prepare regular site financial reports and coordinate timely submissions with the Management at Head Office.
- Handle subcontractor billing processes, ensuring all work is certified and documentation is complete.
- Assist with UAE VAT-related documentation, ensuring full compliance with FTA regulations.
- Liaise with the Human Resources team regarding site staff attendance and payroll verification.
- Utilize Information Technology and ERP systems to streamline site financial data entry and reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven UAE experience specifically as a Site Accountant on construction projects.
- Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting standards.
- High proficiency in MS Excel and experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, or Oracle).
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on data accuracy and detail.
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- A valid UAE driving license is highly preferred for site-to-office coordination.
- Immediate availability to join will be given preference.
