Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing operations and supplier management within the heavy equipment and spare parts sector. This leadership role is vital for driving cost efficiencies and ensuring the high-quality standards required for industrial operations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. You will be responsible for the entire procurement lifecycle, from vendor negotiations to supply chain optimization. We are looking for a results-oriented professional with a deep technical understanding of machinery components and the ability to align procurement strategies with the complex requirements of our engineering and operational teams.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for heavy machinery, specialized spare parts, and lifting accessories.
- Manage high-level supplier relationships, negotiate complex contracts, and secure competitive pricing agreements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement supply chain optimization initiatives without compromising on quality.
- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes to ensure timely delivery and compliance with internal and UAE government policies.
- Liaise with the management team to provide spend analysis, forecasting, and performance reports.
- Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to ensure all procured components meet rigorous project specifications.
- Coordinate with Human Resources regarding departmental leadership and staff training on ethical procurement standards.
- Utilize Information Technology and ERP systems for accurate inventory tracking and automated procurement workflows.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience within the heavy machinery or spare parts industry.
- Strong technical understanding of machinery components, transport tools, and lifting accessories.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving significant cost reductions.
- High level of proficiency in IT tools and specialized procurement software.
- Professional communication skills in English; regional experience in the UAE is essential.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on performance improvement and operational excellence.
