Job Description:
As part of our ongoing growth, KOVA Building Contracting L.L.C. is seeking a dedicated and motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic engineering division. This role offers an exceptional platform for professionals who are passionate about the construction industry and eager to take ownership of site-level responsibilities. You will be involved in real-time project operations, providing site supervision and ensuring that execution aligns perfectly with technical specifications. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day site activities for fit-out, steel structure, and reinforced concrete (RC) projects.
- Ensure that all construction work is executed in strict accordance with approved engineering drawings and project timelines.
- Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, site foremen, and project management to maintain workflow continuity.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to uphold KOVA’s standards of excellence.
- Liaise with the management team to provide progress reports and resource requirement updates.
- Coordinate with Human Resources regarding site safety compliance and manpower allocation.
- Utilize Information Technology tools and AutoCAD for site verification and digital documentation.
- Maintain accurate site logs and documentation to support progress invoicing and technical audits.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Prior experience in the UAE construction market, particularly in fit-out or steel works, is an advantage.
- Strong technical command of AutoCAD and modern construction management tools.
- High level of proficiency in IT tools for reporting and data management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across diverse project stakeholders.
- Eagerness to take ownership of responsibilities and gain hands-on site execution experience.
- Current residency in the UAE with the ability to travel between project sites in different emirates.
- Commitment to performance, teamwork, and high-quality engineering standards.
