Job Description:
UNIMED is currently looking to recruit a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to join our Finance Department in Dubai Industrial City. This role is central to our structured financial operations, ensuring that every transaction is recorded with absolute accuracy and in full compliance with company policies. As an Accountant, you will support daily fiscal activities, from bank reconciliations to fixed asset management, while collaborating closely with the Chief Accountant. We are looking for an analytical professional who can maintain precise financial records and assist in the implementation of internal controls within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Record and post journal entries, invoices, receipts, and banking transactions accurately in the IT-driven accounting system.
- Perform regular reconciliation of bank statements alongside customer and supplier accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain and update the fixed assets register, including precise calculation and recording of depreciation.
- Participate in physical inventory checks for stock and fixed assets to ensure proper documentation and loss management.
- Review daily financial transactions to ensure accuracy and strict compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries as required by the Chief Accountant and senior management.
- Coordinate with Human Resources regarding payroll entries and employee-related financial provisions.
- Carry out additional accounting and administrative duties assigned by the Finance leadership to support departmental goals.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong sense of responsibility with good leadership and professional communication abilities.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and commonly used IT accounting software.
- Good command of English; Arabic language skills are considered an added advantage for regional coordination.
- Detail-focused mindset with the ability to manage management reporting deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently within a collaborative team environment in Dubai Industrial City.
