Job Description:
We are currently looking to hire a highly competent and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in the UAE. This high-impact role is designed for a professional who can independently lead complete financial closing procedures and ensure total accuracy across all reporting functions. You will be responsible for navigating the complexities of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and ICV certification processes while providing critical data for senior management decisions. We are seeking an expert with a strong analytical background who can coordinate effectively with external auditors and internal stakeholders to uphold our financial governance standards. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and finalize accurate monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring complete end-of-period closing procedures.
- Execute in-depth financial reporting and maintain robust internal financial controls in line with IFRS.
- Handle comprehensive UAE VAT submissions and ensure full Corporate Tax compliance.
- Manage the ICV (In-Country Value) certification process and maintain all related documentation.
- Liaise with external auditors, prepare detailed audit schedules, and support the entire audit lifecycle.
- Manage supplier accounts, reconcile high-volume statements, and oversee accurate payment processing.
- Coordinate with Human Resources regarding payroll accounting, EOSB provisions, and departmental management.
- Utilize Information Technology tools and ERP systems like Tally or QuickBooks for digital financial records.
🔹 Requirements:
- M.Com qualification or CA / ACCA (Part Qualified) is mandatory for this role.
- 5 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience, with strong preference for UAE-based experience.
- Expert knowledge of UAE Tax Law, including VAT and recent Corporate Tax frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and complex management reporting.
- Practical experience with IT-based accounting software and ERP platforms.
- Familiarity with UAE-specific compliance, including ICV certification requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and external audit coordination.
- Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to manage independent financial reporting cycles.
